At the core of the ATN BINOX 6 DUAL 640 is the innovative Obsidian VI processor, which processes data from both sensors simultaneously. The thermal channel, equipped with a high-transmission germanium lens, allows detection of heat signatures up to 3,100 meters, cutting through fog, smoke, and dense foliage. The digital channel features a 1.8-inch 4K CMOS sensor for professional-grade detail, while a built-in IR illuminator extends night vision capabilities up to 350 meters.

The Dual-View Switching technology allows users to transition instantly between viewing modes, while Picture-in-Picture mode helps maintain a wide field of view while zooming in on specific targets. The housing is crafted from lightweight yet rugged magnesium alloy, weighing only 1.61 lbs (730g). With an IP67 rating, it is fully protected against dust and water immersion, operating reliably in temperatures ranging from -22°F to 131°F (-30°C to +55°C).
