Product description

The optical system features a classic Newtonian design with a parabolic main mirror, 130mm aperture, and 650mm focal length (f/5 aperture ratio). This fast optical setup is ideal for wide-field observations, rendering breathtaking views of open star clusters, bright nebulae, and galaxies. The compact tube construction ensures low mechanical lever arms and rapid dampening of vibrations.

The single-arm AZ-Go2 azimuthal mount utilizes internal servomotors and an integrated Wi-Fi hot-spot. It is wirelessly driven using a mobile phone or tablet running the SynScan app, which features a database exceeding 10,000 astronomical objects. The curved mount arm geometry allows the optical tube to point directly towards the zenith without striking the mount chassis. Power can be supplied via 8 AA batteries or an optional 12V/1A external power pack.
