Product description

This eyepiece, also known as an earth eyepiece, allows terrestrial objects to be viewed with the image in the correct orientation. In astronomy, image orientation is generally not critical; however, when observing the natural world outdoors, a correctly oriented image is essential for convenient viewing.

The eyepiece can be used with all types of telescopes, including refractors and reflectors. With a refractor, obtaining a non-reversed image requires simply inserting the eyepiece directly into the focuser. With reflectors and other mirror-based telescopes, the eyepiece is installed in the same way as a standard eyepiece.
