Omegonpro Segugio Tracker X Evo is a lightweight, precise motorized camera mount for astrophotography and nightscape photography, developed and manufactured in Italy. Controlled via the Segugio app, it features a built-in battery, supports an additional load of up to 4 kg and can be mounted on tripods or ball heads. With a total weight of just 650 g, the tracker is convenient to take along on hiking trips and outdoor photography excursions.

Product description

Reliable and robust. The Segugio Tracker was designed and manufactured in Italy by specialists in electronics and mechanics. Its solid aluminium construction, milled from a single block, makes it more robust than many other camera mounts. Motor power is dynamically controlled according to the load. This allows power to be saved with lightweight setups while maintaining precise tracking with heavier cameras.

Versatile use. Since the tracker already has a motor and a shutter release connection, the Segugio Tracker can also be used for panorama and time-lapse photography. The Segugio app allows you to configure the necessary settings and start the programmed sequence. With sufficient power, the tracker can remain active throughout the night while capturing the Milky Way. During the day, it can record a panoramic movement across a mountain landscape. Once started, the tracker continues to run its programme even if the smartphone temporarily moves out of Bluetooth range.

Mounting and alignment. The underside of the Segugio Tracker offers several mounting options: an Arca-Swiss-compatible profile, a 44 mm Vixen prism rail, or screw mounting. This allows it to be fitted to tripods and ball heads. The top axis also features a 3/8-inch thread. A pole finder or laser can be clamped into the universal cam profile. Although this design differs from comparable camera mounts, it works with pole finders of a wide range of diameters. Polar alignment can be performed with the camera already mounted.

App

The Segugio app is required for most functions. It is available for Android via Google Play and for iOS via the Apple App Store. As of 15 September, the app is available in Italian, German and English; further translations into French and Spanish are planned.
