The Ermenrich LG900 Site Laser Rangefinder is a compact and lightweight device that is capable of measuring within 5–900m. It can determine the heights of objects, angles, direct and horizontal distances as well as the speed of moving targets – for the latter function, the device has a separate unit of measurement km/h in addition to the standard meters and yards. The rangefinder uses a class 1 laser with a 905nm wavelength – in the infrared range, which is invisible to the human eye and relatively safe for vision.
