Fiberglass, which the tape is made of, is a very strong material that is resistant to abrasion, damage, and stretching. It guarantees a long life and the reliable operation of the measuring instrument. Moreover, fiberglass is waterproof, and so you can use the tape in any environments, even in high humidity or during rainfall. The side hand crank, which is used to roll the tape up, can be folded back so that it does not get in the way. There is a thermoplastic rubber grip cover (TPR) on the upper part of the case, which makes the tape measure more comfortable to hold.
