The Greenough optical design of the stereomicroscope ensures accurate surface distortion detail viewing without losing spatial orientation, thereby providing a high depth of field when observing three-dimensional objects.
The microscope smoothly adjusts magnification 8.4 times from 6.5x to 55x while maintaining a working distance of 105 mm. It features built-in transmitted and reflected lighting for examining light-sensitive and opaque objects. The microscope can be equipped with polarized lighting and dark field accessories.
The microscope is equipped with an affordable 2MP camera and HDMI interface. It transmits images directly to a monitor screen without connecting to a computer. The 1/2.8" sensor with a 0.5x adapter shows a microscope's lowest magnification field of view of 17.1x9.6 mm on a monitor.
The digital microscope monitor has a full-HD resolution.
The microscope is used for restoration, assembly, quality control, as well as in zoology and botany.
Digital Camera
The 2MP sensor camera produces realistic images in full-HD resolution (1920x1080px).
The sensor size is 1/2.8". Therefore, the digital microscope is equipped with a 0.5x adapter to enlarge the field of view on the screen.
No computer connection or additional software installation is needed. The camera is mounted inside the trinocular tube with a C-mount adapter and connects to the monitor via HDMI output. HDMI mode supports 60 frames per second (fps), suitable for recording microscope maneuvers, rapid processes, and observing moving objects.
Monitor
The monitor connects to the microscope's camera to display real-time images. It is compatible with MAGUS HDMI cameras that operate in full-HD resolution.
The screen diagonal is 13.3 inches. The IPS sensor provides bright images with wide viewing angles: viewing the screen from the side does not cause color distortion.
The monitor is placed on a table or mounted on the camera.
The trinocular microscope monitor is suitable for those who prefer looking forward rather than down at the sample. This observation method is the most ergonomic as it reduces back and neck strain. This microscope with a monitor is also suitable for teachers instructing students.
Microscope Head
This 360° rotatable trinocular microscope head can be locked in any desired position.
The light path length does not change. The division ratio is fixed: 80% to the eyepiece and 20% to the trinocular tube. The user observes images both in the eyepieces and on the screen simultaneously.
The basic configuration includes 10x/22mm eyepieces with diopter adjustment and eye relief for working with glasses.
Zoom Lens
The lens allows smooth magnification change up to 8.4 times without losing focus while maintaining a long working distance of 105 mm. The microscope generates a straight (non-inverted) three-dimensional image. Additional objective lenses alter the microscope's magnification range, field of view, and working distance.
Focus Mechanism
Coarse and fine focus knobs on both sides of the stand. Fine focusing simplifies the microscope's adjustment when using magnifications over 40x. The tension of coarse focusing is adjustable.
Static Plate
A glass and a black-and-white plate are chosen depending on the specimen. The glass plate provides even lighting and optimal light diffusion for observing transparent and semi-transparent objects. The black-and-white plate is used for observing opaque objects with a contrasting background: the black side for light objects and the white side for dark objects.
Light Sources
The microscope has a 3W LED transilluminator and a 3W LED illuminator at an angle of reflected light. LED life: 50,000 hours.
Accessories
A wide variety of accessories are available for the microscope.
Eyepieces and add-on objective lenses extend the microscope's magnification range.
Digital cameras display microscope images on the monitor.
C-mount adapters connect the camera to the microscope. The adapter magnification is chosen according to the size of the camera sensor.
Calibration glass slides are designed for measuring samples. The calibration scale value of the stereomicroscope is 0.1 mm.
The polarizer/analyzer kit is used for examining anisotropic samples.
The dark field condenser with a collimator allows for studying precious and semi-precious stones.
A ring light provides shadow-free lighting in the work area with reflected light.
Ring light with polarizer removes reflections from polished metal surfaces.
A mechanical stage allows smooth movement of samples along two axes and offers the user additional convenience when using magnifications over 20x.
A ring light with sector control and a flexible light pipe are used for adjusting lighting in the work area. The light is selected at an angle, creating the desired light diffusion for observations while keeping a certain part of the sample illuminated.
Universal stands increase the work area, thereby offering more freedom when choosing the position of the microscope head over the workspace.
